I had a medium size jerk chicken with rice and red beans here. It is spicy and delicious. I don’t eat so much spices, this jerk chicken spice makes me want to try it again! Make sure you have some drinks or water before you eat jerk chicken! The owner is friendly. Washroom is clean and tidy! I definitely recommend those who live nearby come to this restaurant and give it a try!

The patties are baked in house. When I picked up my 2 boxes, they were fresh out the oven. They smelled so good and tasted even better ... absolutely delicious! Excellent customer service, the owner is friendly and personable. I drove 40 minutes for these patties and it was worth it. Highly recommend.

I had the small oxtail meal with coleslaw and rice & peas, and let me tell you—it was phenomenal. The oxtail was tender, sweet, and full of rich, bold flavour. Every bite felt like comfort and care went into it. Absolute 10/10 in my books. I also tried the curry goat Jamaican patty and WOW. You can immediately tell it’s homemade—the flaky crust practically melted into the warm, soft filling. The curry goat inside was perfectly seasoned, and the combo of that buttery pastry with the savoury filling was unlike anything I’ve had before. For a first-time try? 10/10 again. Golden Spice, you’re doing it RIGHT.

I had the jerk chicken with rice and a side salad, paired with a cold Fanta—absolutely delicious! The flavors were bold and authentic, every bite packed with Caribbean spice. You could taste the love and care in how the meal was prepared. An amazing experience—I'll definitely be coming back for more!

Oh my!!! Not my first time here, but second. Was always coming back after the first time and won’t be my last again either!! Last time I had the jerk chicken, today I had the oxtail. Both absolutely incredible!! The food is absolutely outstanding and full of flavor. The service is also super friendly. Such an awesome place, can only recommend it to all. Best Jamaican in and around Brampton. Next time, I’ll go for the curry goat!!!

Golden Spice Patties is a hidden gem in Brampton! From the service to the food to the atmosphere was amazing. I went around 7pm, so a lot of the food was already sold out. Next time I will be there earlier! I did get the jerk pork patty, curry goat patty and the oxtail patty. All were delicious, but the curry goat patty was definitely my favourite. The dough on the curry goat was softer than the crispy bits of the oxtail or jerk pork. I still loved them too! They all had distinct flavours. I love how they do specialty patties! I spoke to the owner and he grew up making patties in Jamaica. I just loved his story and the vibe of the place. We went back to try other menu items like their shrimp patty and their all time favourite spicy beef patty! It was so good!! I loved the beef and cheese! You could see in the video how cheesy it was. Their version of a shrimp patty was good. I wish it had more shrimp but it had great flavour! I want to try their breakfast on the weekend and their specials during the week. I highly recommend!

Best Jerk Chicken in Brampton!! Highly recommended!!! I had the jerk chicken, rice and peas extra gravy with coleslaw as the Lunch special. Perfect amount of heat to complement the delicious flavours. Rice was cooked perfectly and fresh. I also tried the mild beef patty, lots of filling and perfectly crispy (not flaky) shell. Definitely coming back

Love to see this excellent quality patties in Brampton! I bought 4 beef patties home and they went disappeared immediately! I was lucky enough to try some ox tail rice left over, which is delicious! Will definitely return. Super friendly owner. God bless this restaurant and ministry.
